Policy

Responsible gaming

Effective date: March 6, 2026. Skill gaming still requires guardrails. This policy outlines the tools and practices Dropshot may use to reduce harm and promote informed, controlled play.

1. Adults only

Cash-enabled contests are intended only for eligible adults who satisfy the age threshold in their jurisdiction. Dropshot may use age verification and identity checks before permitting cash play or withdrawals.

2. Control tools

Dropshot may offer one or more of the following controls depending on the product and market:

  • Deposit or spending limits.
  • Entry fee restrictions or contest caps.
  • Session reminders or cooling-off periods.
  • Temporary account breaks.
  • Self-exclusion for a defined or indefinite period.

3. Indicators of risky play

Players should consider pausing if gameplay is interfering with finances, sleep, work, relationships, or emotional well-being. Repeated attempts to recover losses quickly can also indicate unhealthy play.

4. Support and self-exclusion

To request a cooldown, self-exclusion, or another restriction, contact playresponsibly@dropshot.com. Dropshot may require time to process requests and may restrict access to some or all features while the request is reviewed.

5. Third-party support resources

Players in the United States may find support through the National Council on Problem Gambling at 1-800-GAMBLER or through state and local support programs where available. Replace or supplement these resources with market-specific help lines before launch.

6. Operator discretion

Dropshot may limit or suspend cash play, promotional eligibility, deposits, or contest access if it believes doing so is necessary to protect the player, other users, or the platform.
