Policy

Withdrawals, refunds & chargebacks

Effective date: March 6, 2026. This draft policy explains how Dropshot may approach deposits, redemptions, reversals, and payment disputes.

1. Deposits

Deposits may be accepted only through approved payment methods in supported jurisdictions. Dropshot may reject or reverse attempted deposits if risk signals, processor rules, or legal restrictions apply.

2. Withdrawals

Withdrawals may require identity verification, proof of payment method ownership, geolocation review, tax documentation, and anti-fraud checks. Processing times can vary based on volume, payment channel, and review status.

3. Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed once a contest begins or funds have been committed, except where required by law or by a contest cancellation, technical failure, or operator error. Promotional funds and bonuses may be subject to separate restrictions and may not be withdrawable.

4. Chargebacks and reversals

Chargebacks, ACH returns, unauthorized payment disputes, and similar reversals may lead to account restrictions, debt recovery efforts, contest disqualification, or permanent closure. Dropshot may offset outstanding negative balances against current or future funds where permitted.

5. Suspicious activity

If payment or account activity appears suspicious, Dropshot may hold funds, request documentation, limit additional entries, or report the activity to processors, networks, regulators, or law enforcement as appropriate.
